Facebook and Website photos

Postby Brent Thomas Nelson » Wed May 02, 2012 11:14 pm

We are in dire need of new images of our latest builds and creations for both our website and our newly founded Facebook page.

I would like this to be the thread where we start posting pictures of our creations.

Guidelines:
* Shaders are optional. I am a big fan of the water shader, though.
* They do not have to be of your builds. They can be of any.
* They can be of landscape, but it better be epic.
* Protip: Sunrises and sunsets are nice, but don't overdo it.
* You can put up as many pictures as you want.
* Don't take any joke pictures.
* Have fun.

Edit by NeutronRocks:
Please include city name, location (which area of the world [eg. TWW, Zah, etc.]), and attribution for all images.

I will also be using some of these images on the Twitter.

I wouldn't mind taking some pics tomorrow, 2 questions though.. Do they have to be of my creations(don't really expect that to be true)? Should I or should I not download those fancy shaders for the pics?

Did you even read the guidelines?

Are we allowed to edit the images or do they have to be all natural? Not thinking of totally changing an image, but in the same way mods make the map look better, like adding shine or maybe warmth to a picture.

I would kind of discourage any out of game editing.

Barely anything fitted in my fog distance and that compared with slow chunk loading made it alot harder then I had hoped, I still got quite a few pics and I added 2 that I still had laying around on my pc, 16 pics total:

Another Protip: Increaseing your field of view to 100 or maybe even quake pro lets you capture more in a screenshot.

It also looks stupid... :?

But yeah, I wouldn't recommend a FOV increase. maybe a small amount, but nothing that ruins the screenshot.
