MineCon in TheVoxelBox

Hey guys,

System_Z here, I came up with a great idea! For those of us that can't go to minecon, we could have our very own chance to go to minecon in-game! My idea, being minecon related, is to possibly build a huge conference hall. One of which that we could use for conferences,events, or gatherings. We could have VoxelCon, MineCon,etc. It would be a nice build and a great attraction. We could get a few people to help build it. It would be amazing. So how does that sound? Should/Could we do it. I would love to have builder, helper, snipers, admins to help build it! Along with members.

If we are to do a VoxelCon, the best time to do it is when the new world system is launched. Myself, I'd rather spend MineCon actually watching MineCon. And playing Skyrim.

We could make a really large hotel? like the mandalay bay! I would love to get in on this if we wanted to do a timelapse or if a member(maybe myself) would try something in the Boxels in Paleocene for placement in Mechanicsburg or WHat lies beyond pangea area.

Just out of interest, did this ever get done? If not, is anyone still up for it?
It sounded like a great idea, we could have stools where representatives from
different companies on TVB could showcase their 'products', and have contests
etc.

Indeed, we want to bring this back up; if we are to create this, which world/town should it be in? Actually, Mechanicsburg seems like it might be a nice place, it's large, has got lots of space and the texture pack is just right for a modern convention hall and hotel complex.

Sounds good ^_^ We'll need to ask Gilt about doing it, and then get in touch with Ridge about organising it.
