I am putting tons of work into this and am going all-out with custom skins, texture pack, terrain, video editing, and epic storyline! There will be a world of adventure full of massive medieval/fantasy role-play cities, villages and farm towns, and epic seemingly-endless dungeons like those from skyrim! Yup. I agree with Vashal. You have just walked on in here, and said "I want some talented builders, make me something epic for my series." I have seen a few of these topics, they all ended in a no, like Vash said.

Well howdy there partner!

I am requesting some highly skilled builders for help me build a massive world of roleplaying adventure that I will use in a epic yogscast-styled adventure series.

Okay, so you're not giving us a lot of information with this. Besides the "let's copy the highly successful Yogscast theme one year too late" theme, what kinds of adventures are you wanting and what plans do you have to allow it to happen? A good plan is to give us a rough map of what you want including towns, land features, where quests are, etc.

Additionally, we don't really take part in "massive" builds that will consume a great deal of time, especially if you're looking for a world as grand as Minecraftia. If we wanted to build a Yogcast-like map, we would just build for the Yogscast. I'm not if you know this, but the past few episodes of Shadow of Israphel have been designed by me and built by an armada of some of our talented builders, so sell us on why your map would be better for us to spend time on.

Oh and there's another huge issue: How on earth do we benefit from this at all? From the sounds of it your expecting us to flock to you and build you a whole colonized world with no guidance from yourself. After we slave away at that you'll precede to attempt to make a Youtube series hoping to get as rich and famous as the Yogscast but off our hard work. If you haven't read our forums yet, we get about 2-3 requests like yours a month and no one has seemed to sell their idea to us.

Right on!Could we see some of the storyline, or at least get a background so we understand what we're dealing with here? Have you started working on the skins or texture pack, if so, can we see it? What's your experience with video editing? All these need to be explained before we can go on.

Yeah, that's not exactly an e-mail man. Also, I'd be interested if you provided a few examples of your work so I can see your level of building skill, that is if you're comfortable with it.

All in all, we need more description of what you want and you need to put in a lot more effort than a paragraph to sway us into building an entire map for you especially if you expect us to do this for zero reward. I'm not shunning you for having this idea at all, but instead shunning you for your horrible presentation. Really man, put in the effort - it's embarrassing.

Alright, so I am a new you tuber hoping to get lots of subscribers and such. I am a 13 year old highly skilled mine craft builder. i would feel most comtherable building the whole world myself because I can trust myself and I know I am a good builder and can judge my own work, but I am currently working on this huge project that requires tons of help! I will admit I was completely inspired by the yogscast and you could call this a copy, but in a way theres thousands of adventure maps and they aren't considered copying each other, so y should making a adventure series be considered copying if its completely unlike the yogscasts? I am putting loads of effort into this project and I sadly don't have THAT much information to provide you with because I just started this project about 2 days ago. But I have arranged for my friend (who is a very experienced and skilled artist and editor) to make a custom texture pack, make a few skins( I know a few other people that will help with skins ), and create a really epic intro to put at the start of every episode and work on specialty episodes that require animations or whatever. I used world painter to make the shapes of 2 massive and completely flat continents and I plan to add custom terrain using world edit onto the top of them and adding major cities, biomes, secret temples and easter eggs, very detailed things such as sewer systems in major cities that lead to much more. I have the basic outline of the story line:

maybe this boy lives in his little crater village( I have this already built and you can check it out on my youtube channel) all his life and never leaves, then gets news of his father's ship attacked and he goes on an adventure(we will have a secondary main character, but im not sure if hes gonna be another boy whos father died in the reck or a sailer or wat) to find him and discovers it was the government(like empire) that attacked them and he discovers they're really corrupt and he needs to stop their rein, and theres a main evil king and then ya theres like tons of guards everywhere and stuffs so the 2 adventururs become continously at war and discover things and stuff and on and on and on

Thats my working story line for now, please comment and tell me what you think about it. I don't think I can make a map of how the world is going to go quite yet, sorry if this is an inconvenience but I will look into it and see how i could complete the task of doing so! If there is anything else you are wondering about, just reply!

Hm. Okay, so new YouTuber says that this may or may not (could go either way) flop or succeed; who knows. So you're 13, and you're highly skilled. You mentioned that earlier as well. Perhaps we could see pictures of things you've already done? I know that personally I prefer to build cooperatively with people who I know will be able to build at the same level and style as myself.

So if you would feel most comfortable doing it by yourself tells me that you only want us to help you so that you can get this done faster; again, this goes back to the issue of exactly how skilled you are, as well as how well can you work with others? I personally don't work with people who might change all of the work I did because they liked it better in their style. These kinds of things should be considered in a request like this.

This is a bit of a contradiction. You're saying that it's possible to call your map a copy, but then in the next breath saying it's completely unlike the Yogscast's maps. This is really general.

Okay, parts of this are quite specific. Again, it would be of your benefit to provide us with images of your work so we can see the skill level of our associates on this. As far as custom terrain, have you considered VoxelSniper? I know (as a Sniper) that there are numerous people on our server who could do things a thousand times cooler than WorldPainter or WorldEdit for custom terrain. But even as you put a lot of detail into this paragraph, you still don't actually provide detail. Do you have a specific plan of where cities go, and sewer layouts and all that you can actually show us to give us a scale of this thing other than "huge"?

Interesting. The only thing that concerns me is where you use "maybe" and "I'm not sure" and "on and on and on". Those tell me that this is not entirely thought through, and that you don't know exactly where you want to go with this. Commitment is essential in making a map, and I think I can speak for us all when I say that I have things to do; I don't want to jump into a huge, time-consuming project if (god-forbid) right near the end of making it, the project is cancelled.

Incase you need to see what? The only things blocked on youtube for 18+ is sexual content, or extreme bad language/suggestive themes. Everything else anyone can view. I don't see why you need to be 18 to post Minecraft videos on your channel. So, why lie?

They block the content for a reason: It's bad for younger viewers to see. You are breaking rules, and that can get you introuble.

That is sort of controversial (don't know a better word for it). I do not thing that sexual content is bad for kids of the age of 13. Come on, don't tell me you didn't watch porn when you where 13. Did that make you a bad person?
Also, it is not that YouTube is some kind of hardcore porn website or something.
